Friday 7th September
I arrived late Thursday night so we quickly went for pizza then back to Monika’s. We woke up to such a nice view in the morning and made the most of the balcony. For brunch we headed to Daluma for acai bowls and matcha latte’s (new fave drink). Berlin has such cool coffee shops where everyone is so chilled and laid back, it’s such a nice environment.
Daluma
Soda Books
Book store heaven, I could have easily spent hours in here looking at all the books. They have everything from fashion books and city guides to photography and architecture.
Edited Store
Drawn in by their window displays, Edited is my new favourite shop. The assistants were so lovely as we tried on so much and asked for opinions. Not only are their blush velvet sofa’s incredible, the whole store environment is a dream. I purchased the coat below and I’m really in love with it. As soon as Monika and I walked in, I knew it had to be mine. It’s the perfect length and the nicest check. Definitely going back to this store.
With so many pretty streets, and a break in the rain, Monika took some photos of me. Blazer – charity shop. T-shirt – Alexachung. Skirt – Beyond Retro. Boots – ASOS. Bag – Skinny Dip.
Rose Garden
Amazing homemade cakes and coffee’s. The start of a weekend full of all the calories and caffeine.
Soho House
A store and hotel where you wish you could afford everything and what I want my future house to look like. We fell in love with these stone/crystal tables and all the plants. I purchased a self motivation book as they always come in handy!
Saturday 9th September
Roamers
Hands down the best brunch I’ve ever had! French toast with all the extras, a banana smoothie and cappuccino. We may have had to wait 35 minutes to get a seat, but so worth it! We has food babies before the day had even started.
My cute pal being cute.
Second dream store, similar to Soho House but with a more eclectic range of products. Selling everything from candles and bags to the best Acne shoes. They also stocked the APC bag I want in a colour I’d not seen before, swoon!
The graffiti in Berlin is so cool, unlike London where it’s usually slap dash and split wrong, Berlin is full of artistic graffiti that makes everything look so colourful.
Bikini Berlin
A really cool shopping mall that has lots of ethical pop up shops in the centre and sells amazing ice cream.
Monkey Bar
Rooftop bar, which has an inside also! I had a Gina Colada which was incredible, I could easily have drank seven of them. Monika had a Prosecco slushie and the view was insanely good!
All the stations on the U-bahn are covered in the best coloured tiles and are so ‘Accidental Wes Anderson’ vibes!
Making the most of the Berlin sunset.
Top – vintage from LA. Skirt – H&M. Trainers – Vans.
Teddy coat – urban Outfitters. Trousers – Edited. Hat – ASOS.
day 3 & 4 coming soon!
