Finally, I have collated all my photos together and formed this blog post. It’s been over a month since Monika and I got back from Thailand, it was definitely an incredible trip! we stayed at the Aava Resort in Khanom, a place that is far away from tourist so we really got to see what real Thai life is like.
I think for this post, photos explain a lot so I’m just going to add in a few captions and let you enjoy the incredible sunsets!
Our first night was the best sunset I’ve ever seen, no filter needed.
Our villa and our very own steps straight into the pool.
We spent a LOT of time relaxing here.
A trip to the local market was definitely an eye opener (I only photographed the fruit and not the pigs heads and fish guts that smelt vile!).
Being two (almost) 6ft blonde girls, we attracted A LOT of attention, constantly being photographed by locals and posing with our thumbs up in photos with them. I’d love to know how many family photo albums we made it into!
My favourite photo from the whole holiday, the view from our bedroom window. Very so grateful!
Another beautiful sunset!
An evening walk on the beach with a very sunburnt me.
What this photo doesn’t show is the amount of bugs, lizards, spider and other animals I have never seen before crawling around me! Luckily I wasn’t freaked out and just wanted to enjoy the view.
A very sweaty day trip into the city of Nakhon, we saw Batik making, tie dye and shadow puppet making.
The children were on their school holidays so this local river was super busy.
Buddist temple in the centre of the city.
And lastly, a pic of us on our first day, hence why we look so pale! Thailand is an incredible place and I cannot wait to visit again, if you have the opportunity to go, I one hundred percent recommend it!
